If you've seen the movie....you haven't read the book. Similar, but different.
As much as I love Sophie Kinsella, this is actually the first I've attempted to go past the first book of this series. It was entertaining, but I have other books to read before I move onto the next one.


I really want to get my hands on "Something Borrowed"...but I kind of want to borrow it from the library, but it looks like it's been lost. =/

Yes, I've been wanting to read the book for so long...and it is every bit as good as everyone said.

Excited: Returning to an old project

Yes, I have poor penmanship...so what?  I know it looks like a second grader wrote it, but hey, that's the way it is my friends. I'm not giving anything away, but I'm excited to at least attempt to revive this lost MG series (2). If I was a hash tag kind of person, this is where it would be and this is what would follow: realauthorsdraftonpaper =P

It's no secret...I've always been fascinated with it.

The Titanic has always been a major subject of intrigue to a lot of people, and you know I'm one of them. I don't seek out new information, but when I come across something- I'll stop and read/watch it. Anyway,  I'm weaning myself from cable and on Netflix came across an interesting piece from the Smithsonian Channel...Titanic’s Final Mystery.   (Fair Warning: It starts kind of slow, or maybe it just seemed that way because I was expecting something else.) It discusses how the weather played a role in the demise of the "unsinkable" ship, and poses a very unique perspective of mirage's and trickery. The historian, Tim Maltin, also has a book: TITANIC: A Very Deceiving Night, that I'm interested in getting my hands on (but it appears to only be available as an ebook, and I don't read that way...haha!)

Night Time Storytime

The theme was dinosaurs, so each child got a cool 'touch and feel' dino book. K was most excited to find a huge Clifford hiding in the library. ;)
