Supercross Again!

Chris and I just bought our super cross tickets for next March! We are in the 6Th row this time. An the price was only $5 more than my last expense check from Chuck! So it's like they were free! :)
+
Nothing really has been going on lately. Casi and Shane took the boys to Cedars Point this weekend. They invited us but I have to work.
+
Chris went to the beach with Mitch from Brehob and then they all went down the beach to meet up with Chris' new boss, John. Chris was excited to learn how to body surf and had a great day. He says the camp grounds were jammed, packed full. He'd also like to try to the water park at some point. The beach reminded him of the North Carolina trip last year. The waves were huge and the sand was soft.
+
I'm going back to kokomo for three days so Robin can take a vacation week with her grandchildren. I hope I don't freak out staying at the house by myself- although Kristina may come stay with me or my mom said she might if I need her to.
+
Well, I'm off to sleep- got another mid shift tomorrow. Next week really blows I work close, close, close mid, mid. Thursday my new District manager is coming for a visit and I have to leave at 5pm for a doctors appointment! That's gonna look real great! But my schedule was 7-5 when I made my appointment which is at 5:15.

Finally Some PIctures!

WHAZZZZUP? So My mom still has yet to send me the pictures from both vacation for diamond hunting and dancing with the stars. But I can't wait to go to the boat here in Michigan City and check out those slot machines.

+

So We're still house hunting. We've decided that getting a good house in a good neighborhood for what we want to pay is not possible. So we are looking more outside the area and toying with the thought of paying a few couple thousand more. Okay maybe just a couple more if needed. But I am not finding anything so this may be a very depressing fact that we have to consider.

+

Monday I was waiting in Michigan City to go house hunting with Chris and Jane so I decided to waste some time at the library and then I decided to go to the ZOO- BY MYSELF! Yes, all by myself. I went, I paid, I had a lovely time just strolling next to the grizzlies bears, being followed by a peacock and turning into a building to find myself literally just inches away from the face of a Siberian Tiger- luckily he was friendly, there was a small fence between us that he easily could have snapped in half if he wanted too, and no one was around to witness my heart jumping out of my chest as I quickly ran out whispering out loud to myself how close I just came to dieing. Those things are pretty intimidating when the there is no rope netting between you and him. Seriously though I've never seen one that close before and I have to say- IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous animals.

+

I heard that the Zoo had gotten rid of all the big animals such as the Giraffe's and the elephants but a baby bobcat and a baby zebra were both born on July 7Th so they were neat to see. lots of farm animals and who knew Ostriches were so fricken huge!??!

+

Here are some pictures of my trip to the Zoo, sorry I had an old crappy camera I think it was one of the first digital cameras to be produced and sold to consumers for everyday use- it's bad...

So I called my mom and she'll be emailing the Dancing with the Stars pictures later on today. Which means I'll be posting them next week now.
**
**
My feet hurt! The building here in Mishawaka is a lot bigger than the one in kokomo and my feet are seriously feeling it. It doesn't make a difference which pair of shoes I wear to be honest. My sneaker manager shoes or my dress manager shoes. They hurt just the same after those 10 hour days. I have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off this week, then I close, close, mid, mid, mid. I did however apply for my dream job for which I am no where near qualified and have nothing related to it on my resume. But I thought well maybe if I write a really good cover letter, they may at least glance at me. It is the coordinating producer position for the Ebert and Roeper movie review show. Like I said, no experience but might as well submit for it.
**
**
Anyway- the guests at this store are ten times worse than the ones in kokomo. Mihir the General Manager said the the past two weeks have actually been easy going complaint weeks, and I should just wait till first quarter. Honestly I don't want to be there during first quarter. Yesterday I had a lady who said she wanted the token coupon, three drinks and a large pizza coupon. I read it back to her, she said yes that's correct then after she paid --- made me do a void because she only wanted one drink and 2 free water cups. When I delivered the pizza her grand kids had soda in the water cups. I told her that those cups are for water only and she would need to pay for the two sodas. She started yelling right off the bat...Here's our conversation:

Lady: I shared my pop with them I do this all the time

Me: I'm sorry mam but you made me give you money back because you didn't want to pay for them to have a pop, but yet they have pop anyway.

Lady: Yeah because I poured out of my cup into theirs are you saying I can't do whatever I want with my soda?

Me: Mam, I'm saying that everyone else that comes in here, if their kids are going to be drinking the soda- they pay the 1.78 to get them a soda. It's when people do stuff like this that we have to keep raising our prices, then everyone suffers.

Lady: Yeah but I can do whatever I want with my drink, and if I want to share it I can, what part of this aren't you understanding

Me: mam you lied to me at the register about them having water, you stole from the company and most importantly your teaching your grandchildren that it is okay to lie and steal and manipulate the system to save a dollar.

Lady: Girl, this better not be because I'm black-

Me: Mam it has nothing to with your skin color but everything to do with your character. I'm not going to make you pay for those drinks today, but all the managers are here to see you and if you try it again you're going to have to pay for it.

Lady: Well I'll just bring a cup from home.

Me: I'm sorry but outside cups can not be brought in.

Lady: Well I just won't buy anything next time.

Me: If that's what you choose that's fine.

I can't deal with people like this non stop. Friday night I had a guy complain that the cashier was racist because she took someone else's order before his. He said "I was standing next to the other guy, she took his order then the family behind walked up and she took their order.

I said sir I can tell you from my experience as a cashier here that usually people stand in a line, so she probably thought you were with him and when she realized you weren't it was too late to say anything.

The guy: "No what other reason is there except for the fact that she's thinking, He's a black man, he can wait he ain't no body"

then he started talking about slavery and anyone who knows me knows I don't deal well with this issue and I said well sir racism comes in all colors and we all need to mature from slavery times if we are ever going to grow to be a compassionate community. And sir, her husband is black and she has three mixed children with him. So I don't think she is racist.

then the guys says, well maybe she's mad at him and has decided to go the other way. All I know is she needs a reality check, she needs to be put in check.

***
***
I can't deal with this. I'm averaging 2 racial comments and attitudes a week! I need a new job, maybe I'll take a week vacation or something to job search. Although, I've been told that Michigan City is worse than South Bend on the racial feud.

Anyway so there are my complaints this week. I'll make a happier post in a minute.

A Weekend of Firsts

I have no pictures to post still because my camera is still on the fritz!
**
**
So I told ya all I bought my first Amtrak ticket. It was $23.00 from Chicago to Champaign. Chris took me to Chicago because the commuter trail was all booked up. As soon as we walked into Union Station, Chris' eye lite up like a little boy at Christmas morning. He asked me before we even got to the counter to collect my reserved ticket, "Would you mind if I rode with you and I'll just come back on the next train?" So we both took the train.
**
**
Once we got in Chamapaign, mom picked us up and we went to the mall to see Rebecca's new store she had just opened earlier that week. A nice conversation and about 15 minutes later we were finding our way to my favorite Champaign mall food station, SARUKA- JAPAN. I love the Chicken Teriyaki there- won't find none better. But before we got to the food court mom and I stopped by Limited Too to buy some Christmas Goodies for the girls since they were having a huge clearance sale.
**
**
Then mom and I dropped off Chris back at the train station to take a nap and work on his lap top while he waited for his train back to Chicago. Mom and I headed off to Peoria.
**
**
In Peoria mom and I hit up the Casino Boat, Par-A-Dice. I had no clue what I was doing because I had never been before. But I can tell you, it was a bear trying to get me through security! The lady spent 2 full minutes looking at my license- comparing it to the book and then she held it under a light, then she put it under a microscope light thing and made me look at the camera for a full minute before deciding the ID is real, and yes it really is me in the photo!
**
**
Mom give me $20 to start with. I won $33.75! Then She gave me $50.00 and I invested $20 of my own that I had planned to spend anyway. So I played a whole $90.00 and lost $7.25- I walked out with 82.75. Bummer dude, but it was beter than going home broke. But it was great fun! Mom blew her chance of getting $2000.00! She was playing the Slot Machine for only a short while had like $2.75 left in credits and then she cashed out, got up and another lady sat down a few minutes later. TWO PULLS, TWO PULLS later Flaming 7, Flaming 7, Flaming 7 - and the bonus spinner thing- X2! It was insane- we went to the other side of the boat for some more slots.
**
**
After we were done on the Gambling boat we went to eat at EuroJacks. We shared a RoastBeef thing (so yummy!) and then we walked over to the civic center for Dancing with the Stars Live! I will have pictures as soon as my mom emails them to me! It was awesome. So much dancing and singing- it's a good thing we like Joey McIntyre because Drew Lachey had what we were told was a family emergency and the whole first half was pretty much the Joey Mac show featuring Dancing with the Stars. But Joey Lawerence was there and my personal favorite- Joey Fatone was there! They were awesome. They sang and danced. I'll hopefully get those photos posted sometime this week. I have a VERY BUSY schedule though so we'll see.
**
**
Mom drove me home Sunday and then Chris and I went house shopping....again, again. Still haven't found anything that blows us away. I love the house in Kokomo I hope we find one similar that maybe needs less work....??
**
**
I'm outta here for the morning! I got to get ready for work I am working MIDS all week but Thursday. They really suck because you have no morning and you have no eveneing. By the time I get off, restaurants are ready to close. Anyway- have a great day!

Waiting for work

Hey again. Lara Here. I just purchased my first Amtrak ticket! I am taking the train to Champaign, Il from Chicago to go see Dancing With Stars Live with mom. I am excited because I want to see Joey Fatone from Nsync! Dad was supposed to be going with her but he forgot to request the day off work- so I am the lucky one that gets to go- I almost didn't go though because I couldn't get a seat on the communter train from South Bend to Chicago. However, we all know how great Chris is and he said he would drop me off at Union Station then he would go in and work on training materials for work. I really wanted to spend the day with him, but he has got to, got to get stuff done for work that he don't have time for while actually at work.

At work at the South Bend store yesterday I think I got the initiation into the Mean Guest Club! it was 11:15ish in the Am we had only had like four orders and a day care wanting the 5.99 per kid party came in. They had 40 kids! Which is great! They called at 10 to say they would be coming so I counted 50 cups of 20 tokens each.
>
>
I rang the order in and the lady and her husband were fuming over the price. He said that's wrong let me see that, he leaned over to see the register, then wanted a calculator.
>
>
So while I have this guy still complaining to me in one ear. I have another lady going, "I only have a quick question." Which was about some Parks Department thing for the 5.99 per person package. I told her you have to have a minimum of 4 kids, yadda yadda. Then she starts ranting, "Well then Chuck E Cheese can pay for my cab ride back home and don't think I'm gonna be spending any money here again."
>
>
While she's saying this, :::chatterbox hand motion::: I got the other guy going blah, blah, blah in my other ear still. I mean he was just mumbling- not making sense and somehow wanted some kind of repsonse from me right that second. I told the other cashier to go get the coordinator to deal with the parks lady. She never shut up even after I told her that another manager was coming to help her because I was serving this guest.
>
>
Apparently, I used the wrong word there, "SERVING" because I put all the tokens I had counted out on a tray and set the 40 drink cups on it and set it in front of the guy, he pushed the tray off the counter towards me and said, "Excuse me- but I thought you were supposed to be servicing us"
>
>
Fine! I recounted all the tokens he just dumped on to the floor, being polite I walked them out the tables and said your food will be done in a few minutes. The guy goes, "What about our drinks?" I told him the beverage bar was self serve right behind the salad bar. He again says, "I thought you were servicing us?" I told him that the full service package is 10.99 per kid.
>
>
When four of the nine pizzas were ready I asked where they would like me to put them and that the others would be done in a couple minutes. The lady says they are waiting on 12 more people and wants them held. I told her we were running out of room under the warmer and it was getting too busy to hold them there. The guy then says, "Well that's fine, you can just give us a free pizza for the inconvienence." I smiled and said I'm not authorized to do that.
>
>
When the other people arrived, I went to deleiver the pizza's. The guy says "Excuse me, excuse me- can you change that trash can, It really stinks." A forced smile from me and I tell him "Yes, sir. I will gladly change that trash can that only has three plates and two napkins in it." So I did. And thankfully he didn't say anything else to me the rest of his visit.
>
>
GRRR! Lucky for me the rest of the day was smooth sailing. :::sighs:::

Sorry about the Lack of Updates!

Hey all! I'm sorry about the lack of updates but we are in transititon for our move. Living in the hotel, going on vacation and then to PA for the Family Reunion. I am at the Library posting this now.

Chris and I will be posting a bit about what these past weeks have been all about. I have a great vacation story to tell and he has some awesome work tales, along with all the Beirne Family fun to chat up.

I do want to let everyone know that I left work for two hour yesterday and Chris and I cried ourselves to sleep last night and then cried again this morning as our dog BoJack died. We had him on his chain for the weekend when we left for PA and planned on getting him Sunday night. But we were tired so we stayed in South Bend. Chris was to go get him Monday night, but work had plans for him to do a conference call to Asia that night at 730. I asked my mom to go get him Tuesday and when she and my dad got there he was dead. They said he broke his chain and got hit by a car. Geez- I'm starting to cry in the library- this is so hard! Our neighbor said he was on his chain Saturday so our laziness to go, Sunday we could of prevented this and it is eating us up.

I got some pictures of baby Matthew to share with you all this week! Hopefully I'll have time to download and save them tomorrow before work. Chris and I are getting ready for a busy week! This friday we are going to Arthur IL for fireworks and an airshow with my parents and my neices, then Chris will be starting his new job on the 2nd. I am taking my vacation next week and we hope to be in Towanda for the family reunion.
My IPod just totally screwed up on me, it changed all my songs when I went to add one! This bites, now I got to fix this! I got my nails done yesterday! They are pretty and still short enough that I can work with them on!

I'm stealing back my vacation time work! At the Big C, if you don't use your vacation before your anniversary date you loose it. So I put in to take the vacation the week before my anniversary date and the District Manager asked if I could wait and take it later. So I said alright. Little did I know that he would forget he owes it to me. I asked about it the other day and had to play it off like an idiot because he had no clue what I was talking about! So Jimbo is setting me up to just take it and he'll put in some hours. I was against it, but then I thought well he's my boss and if he wants to plug in hours- so be it. His idea, and he took yesterday and he's "calling off" today and then 2 days next week so he can get what vacation he lost in. Who am I to argue with the boss right?

Yesterday I went to the dentist for a 6 month check up and cleaning. I was told to lay off the soda's at work. So yesterday I did really good and only had water, which is amazing for me! I do have a small cavity where my teeth cross and floss won't even get in there. I only ate one tootsie yesterday too!

This morning Chris and I went to PEEPS- Brent and Amanda's radar must have been off because they didn't call this time. We had the Gypsy and a cup of Broccoli soup. Our server Jeffery is really nice. We have had him three times now I think. He really knows what he is doing! After Peeps we had some time to kill so we went to the mall. I bought a new bra and panties from Victoria's Secret...It's the Semi-Annual Sale- go get some goodies!

Chris had another Physical Therapy session at 11:30 today. That's where we went after shopping. He has improved so much! His Physical Therapist has been a patron of Chuck E's before. The past two years I have been the hostess for their Birthday Parties. I have a lovely picture that she sent me last year from the party hanging on my basket in the office. That was pretty cool. She was like, You look familiar....then I jumped I've done your kids' birthday parties the last two years! She was like "oh yeah, it's lara right?" So that was exciting.

Now we are home and I have go to get going for work while Chris has to sit with ice on his knee so it won't swell after therapy.

Hope you're feeling like yourself soon Grandma Beirne!

Patient Chris

No, Chris still is not very patient- but he is A patient! Surgery day was yesterday! Chris couldn't have anything to eat from midnight on, which he didn't think he would have to do so he ate at 6pm then went to bed. I tossed all his papers for prep at him as I was walking out the door for work when he realized he couldn't stop and get a burger on the way there. I was supposed to work 8-4 but Robin (other Assistant Manager) came in an hour early to relive me. I got home about a quarter till noon and away we went. I packed all the goodies for the waiting room, I packed a deck of cards, a puzzle book, my IPOD, a stock market book, some DVDs and a portable DVD player. I ended up only reading a portion of the book and watching part of the movie. I didn't have to stay in the waiting room at all. I got to sit in a private room while Chris was in surgery for all of 45 minutes. We spent hours there but we sat and talked until they said it was time to make him take a nap. The surgery went smooth and fast said Doctor Johnson. I got instructions on how to work that air cast- cyro cuff thingie. Whoever came up with that thing is really a genius- so easy and beats having 50 million ice packs in the freezer. Getting Chris into the car was another story. He drank Apple Juice after the surgery and it made his tummy queasy without having anything else in it. He sat up and started to feel sick. When he would lay down he was semi-better. After about 30 minutes we loaded him up into the front seat and I made him drive home. (Just Joking!) I drove!

Everyone knows I am having serious issues with my cameras battery- (I know, I know just buy a new battery!) as soon as I get this one reloaded I will get pictures of Christophers knee in that aircast. I know he'll be excited to show it off! Today we go back to Doc Johnson for a check up on everything. We'll find out if Chris needs to do some Physical Therapy or not.

Christopher's "Paris Hilton Mug Shots"

Lara's "Paris Hilton Mug Shots"

Smoking Good Times

Hey All! This weekend was mad craziness busyness if you get my point!

Thursday my boss came into town unannounced (just who does he think he is!) that's like a major illegal professional courtesy law breaker. :) I was way behind which I found myself behind today also! :( Hmm..I know why, but I won't say! :::Being Polite:::

Anyway, after my exhausting day with Jeff monitoring my every step Chris and I met up with my sister and mom and the boys for dinner at OutBack...60 BUCKS!! Dude! ForReal! Mom paid for most of it though

Chris and I both took Friday off. Chris had a Doctors Appointment for his Knee in Indy. We took off early in the morning and barley made it on time. Once there, Chris had to get an Xray though he had just gotten MRI's done the previous day. Doctor Johnson came very highly recommended to Chris from a guy at the mall who started the conversation with, "You need knee surgery?" It was nice stranger conversation.

Anyway-- So Doc Johnson said Yes! Chris needs knee surgery! So we made the appointment for today Tuesday the 19Th! After that doctors appointment we drove straight to my parents house and hung out with my daddy-o for a few. Mom got home from Casi's house and Chris, dad and I went to Kristina's House where we finally got to see this Mustang she's been bragging about forever! it's fast...

Then we went to Ashley's tee ball game where Chris and Kris sat and observed, Grandpa (or you know- my dad) helped warm up Ashley's tee ball team before the big game there in Homer. I played catch in the outfield with Rachel while they warmed up. We worked on grounders, pop flys and Rachel pitched a few too me (she is actually really good at getting the ball near the strike zone!)

Everyone wins in Tee-Ball that was exciting then we went to Grandma's for PIZZA, PIZZA from MONICALS! It was yummy! Then Chris and I brought out that SNAPPERS we bought from Shelton's on our way there. We also bought Sparklers, bottle rockets and some colorful spinner things that looked like butterfly's! They were a lot of fun! We still have a lot left over! (hence we bought them by the case in true pyro fashion)

Rachel and I had a SERIOUS HULA HOOP BATTLE! I think she won though!

Saturday morning I got my hair cut off! I like it, love it sometimes I will hate it I know. But it was time for the long long to go. Then we joined crews with Grandma and grandpa (yes, my grandmother) and we headed to the reason for the weekend off...MARISSA's Graduation Party! It was in Kankakee. She is now a graduate of high school and officially a college gal! (She started classes a few weeks ago, plus I think took a summer class last summer) But anyway she's all grown up! Makes me feel old!

Sunday Chris and I went house shopping, during which we learned the cost of living maybe a bit higher than we originally planned. So hopefully something will come up and work this kink out! Let's just agree that our dreams of a beautiful beach house are shattered! :)

Welp Here we are again!

Chris has officially accepted the new job offer- signed, sealed and hand delivered. Hoping to start next week and still get pay, Chris took a vacation week before he turns in his 2 week notice just to find that his little knee injury is possibly a torn cartilage and may require the laser surgery. We are praying that everything still works out very well!

I've just worked another full week at the other store! It really wasn't that bad it did however suck on Sunday to drive 1hour and 15 minutes to work for a 4 hour shift then have to drive that same time home.

Sunday we went to Michigan City to delivery the paperwork for his new job and looked at a couple of houses. We found one that is adorable but it's a bit out of our price range. Chris is looking at some foreclosure homes and hopefully next Sunday we will be going back up to look at some more so we can get the process started again.

I just learned last night that the sister of a girl from my class in Georgetown was the victim in a murder-suicide. He must have had some serious issues because he used an assault rifle and shot her right outside her house while her parents were inside.

I am loading the concert videos/pictures and the Kings Island photos now. I will get them posted tomorrow evening. I work 10am - 11pm tonight in the Muncie then I got to get up and go right back to open that store tomorrow. I will be transferring to the South Bend store when we move. My District Manager Jeff said the DM for that region does not have a salary position open but will adjust my hourly pay to equal my salary so I won't take a loss...

I registered for Fall Classes last week also! I will be taking Spanish, Math and Intro to Teaching. I tried to take a summer online class through Dacc but it was already full before I called to register. My sister is actually taking that same class.

My mom and I are taking the girls on a vacation this summer. We were supposed to go to Florida on the train and meet up with Casi and her family but Shane is so close to graduating he wants to concentrate on that this summer. My mom then called and said what about going Diamond hunting in Arkansas and I really wanting to take the train was like, "that's not fair to the girls you promised them Disney World." But I am going to Orlando with the West Clan in October so I suggested Niagara Falls but I don't think she going for it because just called and said "Blue Man Group is going to be at universal this summer, but you don't want to go to Florida" So I think that is a PASS on the super fun Niagara Falls trip. Chris and I will have to take a long weekend or go next summer.

I gotta jet to work, I'm gonna be so late!

Our 100th POST!

Hey All This is our 100Th Post to the new blog! Yeah!

anyway...

This weekend was a pretty busy one that planted Chris down for the count...he's on bed rest. Yes let me explain...

First Chris has started walking one mile a day to try and get into a little better shape. With doing this his knee began to give him some slight problems like having trouble standing up, knee feeling like it needs to pop but not doing so, etc...

So not a real problem with his knee, he goes jet skiing with Mitch and Mitch's family this past Friday. He then mows the grass at the Church on Saturday from 8am until 2 pm. I left work at 4pm and then came home and we got ready to go to the Gwen Stafani concert with AKON and LADY SOVEREIGN! It was AWESOME! (I'll have pictures and videos posted as soon as I find my camera!)

After the concert we got stuck in the parking lot for 2 hours and only moved about a quarter of an inch the entire time! We literally pulled out of our parking spot and into a non-moving line behind a limo. The limo being in front of us turned out to be a blessing because the guy who was renting the limo by the hour got out and then returned about 20 minutes later and went to yell at the driver!...actually he spied another way out and had the whole thing mapped out. I saw him pointing and making a plan with the driver I told Chris to "FOLLOW THAT LIMO!" and boom it was only another 10 minutes and we were out! By the Way, the line we were in hadn't moved! I bet they are still parked there waiting!

Anyway so we went to the HILTON and shared a room with my mom and Rachel and Ashley. We got up early and headed out to KINGS ISLAND! There we met up with Casi, Shane, Austin and Devon. It was a total blast, once I find my camera I lost there I will post them pictures. We were there all day and I only rode the merry go round with Austin, Tomb Raider with Chris and Scooby Doo with Rachel and Austin. I was more on kid watch than on have a blast riding coasters mission.

So Chris and I go to work like normal yesterday. At 12:30 in the PM Chris' knee locks up on him and is giving him a numbing pain that is uncomfortable. We debated on going to the emergency room but since it wasn't like painfully painful he just slept the night with his knee pulled up to his chest all night.

Still it was stuck in the morning and actually giving him pain. He went on into work but left to go to a convenience care about 10am. They drained some fluid from knee and think it is inflated (?). They gave him some pills and brace and some crutches and told him to stay off it for the day!

So he's on bed rest!

Whatta Memorial Day Weekend!

A Memorial Day Weekend even we didn't expect!

Up until the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend Chris and I were totally planning on going to the Races. Then we decided that we really wanted to go to Aunt Carolyn's Wedding Reception in Illinois.

With that decision made Chris and I headed to my parents house in Illinois on Saturday Night when I got off work that evening. We spent the night in my old pink and blue bedroom and then we got up pretty dang early to head to Brent and Amanda's house. Which actually ended up being later than we had thought!

Chris needed to take a shower still and my mom wanted to go out to eat at Ryan's. Mom and I went to Ryan's while Chris took a shower and got shaving. Ryan's was only about 15 minutes late unlocking their doors. Which took us 15 minutes longer than we had planned on spending to eat.

Since we were ruining late we told Brent to just have everyone meet us at Le Peeps! We were going out to breakfast with Brent, Amanda, Mom and Dad West and of course Makenna!

Here we are waiting for our name to be called so we get started chowing down!

Yeah, Makenna and I called each other to see which color we would be wearing today.

Brent and Amanda tease each other

Mom tries to make a call to China on Makenna's phone! Good thing Makenna has the number pad locked!

Chris and Grandpa are just stolen by Makenna

After a brief time of waiting our name was finally called, "BRENT PARTY OF 7" and we were all ready to go eat.

Makenna got some yummy food after her bottle! She ate Strawberry Yogurt and a Cinnamon Roll!

Grandma stole Makenna's Hat! Poor Makenna!! everyone steals her cute little hats, Here's a picture of when her daddy stole her hat at the Christmas party!

Back to Le Peeps...Makenna and Uncle Chris have a good time!

After leaving Peeps, I went with Makenna and Mom went with Chris back to Brent and Amanda's house. We hung out there for a bit, Chris obsessed over the race and then we loaded up to go to the Reception.

Literally, LOADED UP! Mom and I had to sit all the way in the back! We were in the trunk! Yeah Buttocks were a bit sore when we arrived.

We Mingled at the Reception...

The little boy was an official balloon blower-upper with the helium tank.

Lara was the official balloon knotter person.

Amanda was the official string tier person.

and the little girl was supposed to be the official string cutter person, but she gave it up :)

Chris made some non-helium balloons to tie out by the road!

Darrell helps the groom Barry tape down the table cloths.

Chris spends some time with grandpa

Aunt Carolyn comes to say buh-bye while Chris checks on the Race.

Here we are at Dos- great Picture! :)

Here we are leaving Dos reales! We stopped to chat with this nice driver here. Although I don't think he was nearly as entertained as we were.

Here we all are on the putting field!

Amanda won! I'm not sure how the scores ended up after that! Brent said she forgot to do her victory dance, but I bet she probably did one or two!

The Next morning Chris and I headed out early to go to my parents house again. Chris got suckered in by mom to make the RIBS and we had a great meal with Grandma and Grandpa, Kristina, mom and dad and Chris and I. After that Chris and I took off to be on our way home.

While Chris was grilling I was looking for the tadpoles in moms pond she built.

Grandpa thinks dad couldn't get the food table ready fast enough! Look at him all ready to start chowing down.
