We went to Garwood's Apple Orchard, and K picked her very first apple from the tree.

That this girl will not climb on! Yesterday I caught her climbing on her little play jungle toy (which is narrow and snake like,) SO, she climbed on it, and was stretched out with her hands on the jumper making herself be a bridge across the two. She is a monkey for sure.

Nothing Runs Like A Deere!

Well, Chris finally managed to convince me that the Toro needed to be replaced. Here we are on the new toy.

The Day Of Casi's Surgery...

This may seem crazy to everyone else, but to keep the kids busy during Casi's surgery, and to keep our own minds from the worry...we took the boys to Indiana Beach for a few hours. Here are our pictures.

This is what we were doing while they rode the kiddie rides... Austin loved it !


He is such a roller coaster freak... he has been riding them since before he was tall enough... (cow boy boots with attachments on the bottom to make him taller...)

But still enjoys a kiddie ride here and there...


Devon rode like a big boy, all by himself.

Then we hit the water park for an hour...






Then Austin had to ride the Frog Hopper. It is a mini-dropzone ride that he loves.


Courtney is scared of heights. She did a very good job on it though.



Grandma and Austin also rode the sky lift thing. I had Devon and he wanted to ride, but he only wanted to sit on my lap and that was not allowed. So he screamed and we got off. Courtney is afraid of heights so she did not ride it. Chris walked her to the other side, Devon and I had to catch up, they were wondering what happened to us.

And as posted earlier- we got to the hospital with perfect timing....

Happy Anniversary to Us!

August 4Th, our four year wedding anniversary! Chris got me, his beloved bride these beautiful flowers, which sit on our coffee table as though they were grown for just this occasion.

On Sunday morning Chris went out to get his hair that desperately need cut, cut. It looked really good, but he always wears that hat, you don't get to see it. sorry.

Here we have arrived! Yeah-Buddy! Check it out, I got the cruise boat in the picture.

After walking to a National City to get some cash, we stopped at Chipolte which is right next door the NC for a bite to eat. Chris got this HUGE burrito and I got three chicken tacos- they were so yucky, we had to go to El Bracero's on Monday to get some good Mexican food. (I so like Chipolte's mild salsa though)

We made it to Navy Pier - There is the Ferris Wheel behind us, we are about to ride it.

There is a small part of Chicago behind us! This was our first time to Navy Pier. We heard a lady say, "there are a lot of shops" to her family before we went in. She was right.

I bought some Lemonade in a souvenir cup!

Chris bought some Carmel Popcorn. It was still warm and gooey when we got it.

We played with the battle ships before realizing we were about to miss our reservations at Morton's... we decided to spend more money at the Pier and cancel the reservations.

We saw some more of the Windy City.

It was a really great day in Chicago. Next year our anniversary hopefully will be in Jamaica where we got married. Thanks for the card Mom and Dad West!
