This weekend was a busy calm. We cleaned, went grocery shopping, and Chris made my homemade noodles for his Beef-N-Noodles dinner. I am planning on Making Zuppa Toscana soup this week for dinner, but we still found ourselves at Olive Garden for the $6.95 Soup & Salad. Chris loves the Chicken & Gnocchi soup - We'll be trying to duplicate this recipe soon!
We also had a great time at the John's house. They don't eat red meat, but DiOnna makes some killer Turkey Burgers that I can not wait to eat again. She grounds the Turkey meat and mixes it with onions, garlic, salt & pepper. We took a Creme Pie for dessert (of course). They also cook their own sunflower seeds, because the store bags have too much salt. How Yummy they were. We'll be baking up some seeds in no time here.
