Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year!
Katelyn was wide-awake celebrating the ball drop and ringing in the New Year with us. We first celebrated the EST time zone, hoping we would all be asleep by the Central timezone midnight - but she was still wide awake come midnight.
Chris found a Latin America tradition of eating 12 grapes at midnight. One for each month of the year. If they are sweet it will be a good month, if they are sour that is going to be a "sour" month. It is kind of funny that while we were eating our grapes we BOTH had sour ones for May! I don't think I'll be getting on any plane with him for Germany in May now. I'm kind afraid since the 5th grape was sour for both of us. I guess we'll keep you updated come May.
