I think we may have found Bo-Jack. He has been missing since August 3rd.
I let him out to chase me on the mower, which I couldn't get started. I came back in the house to call Chris and wait for him to call me back. When I went back out- Bo-Jack was gone.
Chris went to all the neighbors and asked if they had seen him. One said they thought they saw him chasing a deer. So Yesterday I called the Humane Society in Tipton County- which is closed due to lack of funding. So I called the commissioner, closed for lack of funding. So I called the Auditors office, who told me to call the Sheriffs office, since they are acting as a holding cell for animals right now aswell. I called the Sheriffs Dept. and they only had three dogs and Bo-Jack wasn't one of them. BoJack did NOT have his collar on when he ran off or it would have been easy for someone to call us. So they said to call the Kokomo Humane Society. I thought that was dumb, we live in Tipton County, why would Howard County have come get him!?! But I went to the Kokomo location anyway and I thought this dog was him right when I saw him, but then I thought the white spot was really high on his neck and then I saw the kennel said "NOTIFIED, Has Chip." So then I knew it wasn't him, cuz Bojack has no chip.
I went right to work after that and it was really bothering me, because it acted like my dog an looked like my dog. So I called back and asked if they were sure that dog had a chip. The lady came back and said that note was from the last dog in the kennel and this dog has no chip!
So I'm going today to get him, because I have a picture that clearly shows BoJacks spot was rather low.
