Some people are easier to fool than others on April Fools Day. NC played a clever joke by sending out a mass email that we are no longer allowed to accept $2 bills for deposit. This would make the business people that receive them very upset and the people who come in to get them for their grand children's birthdays. Ha ha, funny.
But when someone strikes an April Fools day joke two days before April Fools Day- It can be pretty hard to imagine that it's a joke...
Chris got an email on Sunday from one of the employees saying his passport had been stolen and he was stuck at the US Embassy in Chile. He said that they cleared a couch off for him and hopefully it will be cleared up in a couple days. Chris follows all the channels, letting his supervisors know, sending an email to the president of the company...well he does it all except try to call the employee to just say, 'hey, got your email blah, blah, blah' Monday morning this guy is at work here in MC and Chris was upset, his bosses were upset because it was not a very funny joke to them. The employee apologized for the prank and did not think that it would go as far as it did.
All's good in the neighborhood.
